The owners of this garden gave us the brief to design ‘an amazing entertaining garden’ to accommodate the large scale entertaining they enjoy. They wanted to install an outbuilding with glazed walls overlooking the garden and a kitchen under an adjacent pergola. Both a contemporary water feature close to the patio and a naturalistic one was on the wishlist, along with an area for a fire pit and seating. The style was to be contemporary but sympathetic to the vernacular of the house.
