There are six phases every project goes through from concept to completion:
We arrange a meeting with you on site to ascertain what you would like to achieve with your outdoor space, discuss your priorities, your style and your budget. Based on your requirements, we prepare a design brief and a quote for the design work and drawings.
On approval of the design proposal, we arrange for a site survey. In most cases, this will be a topographical survey carried out by a surveyor. If your project is small and the site not very complex, we will undertake the survey ourselves.
Using the site survey data, we prepare your 3D model and create the design. We invite you to join us via Zoom to review the design following which we incorporate any revision requests and issue a design document in PDF format.
Once the design is finalised, we prepare construction detail drawings and specifications.
We issue the construction drawings for tender to companies of your choice or to installers whom we have vetted and who we think would be a good fit for your project. On receipt of the tenders, we ensure that these are like-for-like quotes and assist you in appointing a contractor.
We will carry out site visits during the installation process and are available to the contractor for questions throughout. This ensures that the design is executed as intended and any issues arising are resolved in keeping with the design.
